Overview
Access your team’s NikaPlanet project maps directly on your mobile device. NIKA Mobile syncs map layers, styles, and view states from the cloud so field teams always have the latest spatial context when heading to a site.
Key Features
Live Map Sync
Maps are synced from NikaPlanet with collaborative state management. Layers added or styled by your team on the desktop appear automatically on mobile. When connectivity is available, map changes propagate in real time.
Layer Management
Toggle individual layers on and off to focus on the data that matters for your current task. Switch between multiple basemaps — street, satellite, topographic — depending on field conditions.
GPS Navigation
Your live GPS position is overlaid on the map with accuracy indicators. Navigate to survey sites, plot stakes, and transect start points using the integrated location display with coordinate format options (DD, DMS, DDM, UTM).
Offline Map Caching
Maps are cached to local storage for use in remote areas without connectivity. The app loads cached map snapshots instantly on startup and refreshes from the server when back online.
View vector polygons, raster imagery, and GeoJSON overlays. The same data your team visualizes in NikaPlanet is available at your fingertips in the field.
